한Korean Town Bangkok

Privacy and cookie policy

This policy explains what koreantownbangkok.com collects from visitors, what it is used for, and how you can control it.

1. Who we are

koreantownbangkok.com is a community guide to Korean Town at Sukhumvit Plaza, Bangkok, run by a business inside the building. For privacy questions, write to [email protected].

2. We do not ask you for anything

There is no sign-up, no shopping cart and no form on this site, so we do not ask visitors for a name, email address, phone number or payment details.

If you email us, we keep that message for as long as it takes to reply and fix the listing. We never sell or trade it.

3. Data collected automatically

Like any website, our host and analytics record technical details when you open a page: which page, when, browser and device type, language, approximate country and the site that referred you. This is used to see which pages are useful. It is not used to identify you personally.

4. Cookies and third-party services

  • Google Analytics 4 — counts visitors and popular pages. It sets a cookie to tell returning visitors from new ones. IP addresses are truncated before processing.
  • Google AdSense — serves advertising on some pages. Google and its partners may use cookies to choose which ads you see, based on your visits to this and other sites.
  • Google Maps — the embedded map (loaded only when you scroll to it or tap to load) and the Places API that supplies venue photos and ratings.
  • Cloudflare Pages — our host, which processes access data for site security and speed.

5. Third-party advertising

This site shows advertising through Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website and other websites.

Google’s use of the DoubleClick cookie enables it and its partners to serve interest-based ads. You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings.

To opt out of several ad vendors at once, use aboutads.info/choices or youronlinechoices.com.

Opting out does not remove ads. It only stops them being tailored to your browsing history.

6. Managing cookies yourself

Every browser can delete or block cookies from its settings. If you block all cookies, this site still works, though the map and Google-sourced venue photos may not fully load.

7. Your rights

Under Thailand’s Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA), and the GDPR for visitors in Europe, you may ask to access, correct or delete any personal data we hold about you.

Send the request to [email protected]. We reply within 30 days.

8. Children

This is an adult dining guide. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

9. Links to other sites

Many venue pages link out to a venue’s own website, map listing or social account. Once you follow such a link, that site’s policy applies instead of this one.

10. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we update the date below and publish the new version on this page.
